  • Notes
    • Sannieshof began as a post office in 1920. Residential stands were sold in 1928
and the village was first known as Roosville, after Tielman Roos, member of
Parliament for the region. In 1952 the village was named after Sannie
      Voorendyk.
Sannieshof is named after Sannie Voorendyk, who was married to the Lichtenburg
      postmaster during the diamond rush.
